Terms of Use
Tellbird is an iPhone app made by Lifehack Media ("we", "us"). By using Tellbird you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA), which is the licence for the app. If the two ever conflict, the Standard EULA wins.
Using Tellbird
- Tellbird reads aloud documents, scans and web pages that you add. Only add material you have the right to use. Copyright in it stays with its owners.
- Reading is generated by software and can mispronounce words, skip text or read it out of order. Don't rely on it where an error would matter.
- Don't copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
Free and Pro
Tellbird is free to use with the Ava voice and a daily limit on new imports. Tellbird Pro unlocks every voice, faster speeds, every text style and unlimited imports.
Subscriptions
Tellbird Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple through the App Store, either weekly or yearly. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trial. The weekly plan comes with a 3-day free trial. It turns into a paid weekly subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Tellbird. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Apple handles all billing and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Restoring. On a new iPhone, use Restore purchases in Tellbird's Settings or on the Pro screen, signed in with the same Apple ID.
Changes to Tellbird
We may change, add or remove features. If we change these terms, we will update this page and its effective date. Continuing to use Tellbird after a change means you accept it.
No warranty
Tellbird is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in the Standard EULA, and our liability is limited as set out there. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.
